Philodendron Selloum
Philodendron Selloum Green is an evergreen, attractive houseplant. A very vigorous growing vine with waxy, golden green, stiff, bipinnate leaves it has 10 to 12 segments on each side of the midrib. Its slow-growing habit makes it a rosette; leaves are lobed, dark green, ideal for indoors & outdoor shade.
Planting and care
Sunlight: Plant can grow in full shade (indoors) or partial sunlight (outdoors). Direct sunlight will burn the foliage & stunt the growth of the plant.
Water: The plant must be kept well watered throughout. Keep the soil evenly moist, but allow it to dry out between waterings.
Fertilizer: Add rich compost & well rotten cowdung during potting a plant.
Temperature: Plant prefers pleasant warm temperatures. Minimum temperature requirements are 15 degrees Celsius.
Humidity: Philodendron plant likes hot & humid climate.
Pruning: Train the plant to grow in certain direction & size by cutting unwanted growths every 3-4 months.
Propagation: Propagation is by stem cuttings, air layering, or by offsets.
Companion Plants: Ferns, Dracaena, Aralia, Spathiphyllum, Rhoeo.
