Description
Kaner, Nerium Oleander Plant
Oleander (Nerium Indicum) is a large, evergreen flowering shrub. Upright in habit, it flowers from early summer through fall with clusters of single or double blooms. Many colors are available, with pink cultivars being the most common. Oleander grows in full sun, does not require any special soil, and is drought-tolerant once established.
It is most commonly known as Nerium oleander, from its superficial resemblance to the unrelated Olive Olea. It is used as an ornamental plant in landscapes, in parks, and along roadsides.
